Just had a lovely lunch with hus at the famous Bugis roasted duck rice. hehe!

Everyone is talking about how they spend their vday yesterday, so am i. We booked a place at Hanabi at 7pm, in the end we changed our mind to go Thai Express @ Iluma since we are not super hungry for buffet. The total bill we had in Thai Express was less than per pax at Hanabi. We saved alot. The very friendly female manager made our day thou the setting of the tables were very cramp. She and one of her crew were so polite, nice, humorous.

This year vday, I did not get anything for hus thou i have something in mind long ago. This is a huge project and is not easily completed in 1 day. Moreover, we are staying together, it's harder for me to make one. BUT, hus bought me a Chip n Dale's puzzle that we can insert one of our photo. He even got the vintage brown frame. Love it ttm! I told him not to waste money on roses. I prefer money. lol!

Everything goes well on Sunday!! His parents closed their stall specially for us. Awwww!

Fyi, yup! his parents are running a fish soup stall at the bedok interchange hawker centre. Their dishes are yummy esp their fish soup! Give it a try if you happen to be nearby there. Their stall name is 天天来 facing the interchange translink top up machine :)

ok... let's continue! We met up at east coast Tung Lok restaurant for their Sunday Ala Carte Buffet. Their food were not bad but the whole restaurant was horrible. Their air con were not working. The restaurant were so stuffy and everyone were sweating. Luckily the mothers were happily chatting away despite of the humidity. When we got the restaurant manager to explain to us, he was like: "Look at me, (he is perspiring) I am sweating too. I also hope that air con is working..... blah blah blah." I dont mean to act like an arrogant customer, but at least find me a solution! or maybe explain to us the problem and sincerely apologise. You can see that the customers were faning themselves using the paper menu. I am having a first meet up for both our folks. Is the first time that we were lunching here. I just want my folks to have a comfortable stay. But anyway, we wrapped up everything at 1pm and parted.

Went back home to rest awhile and off to go to chinatown. We practically eat and shop and east and shop. lol! His mum were happy that we can accompany them for shopping. I managed to check out the prices for our decoration cloth at 珍珠坊, China town. Headed back home, his mum help me with the measurements. I think we have roughly settled the clothes issues. All thanks to his mum :) She made clothes for her family members when she was young and the bow ribbon she tied was beautiful!!! =)))))

Woke up early for our medical appt in Dayspring on last Saturday. That was the only slot they have.. oh well, we were 20 mins late... hee!
The staffs and doctor there were extremely friendly that made us feel comfortable during our visit. Our young pretty doctor was very detailed in our review session. She was very receptive to all of our questions. During our conversations, we got to know that her husband is also a doctor too, and guess what? He was the doctor who helped to save a cleaner who had collapsed on the job in the basement of Century Square in Tampines on 20/04. (News @Todayonline). We were honoured to have his wife to be our doctor!

Ended our review at 11.15am. We went to Ootoya Japanese Restaurant @ Orchard Central. It was always crowded there. So since we were in town early, we decided to go for this famous Jap restaurant.



We were greeted with a cheerful and loud jap greeting from the crew members. A glass of ice green tea and a cup of hot green tea were served to us while we are choosing our food. The green tea was not from the normal tea bag, it was those powdered green tea. It's free and free flow~~~ He drank like 5 glasses. We love it! We ordered a Charcoal Grilled atka mackerel set, Breaded pork chop Set and Charboiled bbq chicken Ala carte.

After our awesome jap lunch, we headed down to Plaza Singapore to catch a movie. We were so lucky to get a GV movie ticket for IRONMAN 2 at the back row center seats in only 10 mins before the movie started. We enjoyed the movie very much thou we still prefer IP MAN 1 & 2 =p

Next, we went for bai bai at Kwan Yin Temple, random shopping at Bugis Parco and NYDC for cakes =D.





Hanging around for awhile before we headed down to my younger brother's graduation ceremony, Crossing 2010. The first half of the performance was the ballet with the complement of the NAFA symphony orchestra. I enjoyed alot. The rest of the performance were awesome too, esp my lil bro and his gf. I see tremendous improvement in their movements over these years. It was a great preformance.
